Naperville bans throwing candy from parade floatsA new ban prohibits parade participants in Naperville from tossing candy and other items from floats. The ban was approved 5-3 Wednesday night. Parade organizers are to enforce the policy as they deem appropriate. People walking along parade routes still will be permitted to hand out candy to members of the crowd.
